Martin Luther King, Jr. Wildcats for Service

About Us

With the change of our program name from MLK Day of Service to MLK Wildcats for service, we want to bring to the Lexington and UK community a sense of year-long service. We will have monthly serve events open to UK students to help them grow as active citizens in our community. All this service will be commemorated at our Annual Day of Service Event that coincides with the National MLK Day of Service. With new changes being brought to the program, we can not wait to leave a legacy on UK's campus, just as Dr. King did for the world...especially with your help.

Leadership Team

2018-2019

My name is Isaiah Brown and I am the Director of the MLK Wildcats for Service 2018-2019. I am a senior studying Neuroscience with aspirations to practice medicine after graduation. I got involved with MLK WFS to bring a new perspective to continuing Dr. King’s legacy on UK’s campus. I can’t wait to reach students by creating service opportunities and raising social awareness through civil engagement and advocacy.

I am Colby Nichols and I am your 2018-2019 MLK Wildcats for Service Education chair. I am a junior studying exercise science, with a health promotion minor on the Pre-OT track. I joined this organization because I have always been a firm believer in speaking up about social injustice. I hope to spread awareness on social issues and provide service for the greater good through this program.
